Dr. Kellie Lawler is a graduate of Bastyr University with a Doctorate in Naturopathic medicine and a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Prior to attending Bastyr University, Dr. Lawler was a staff scientist for a biotechnology company in San Diego which specialized in prostate and breast cancer research. After graduating from Bastyr, Dr. Lawler set up practice as a Naturopathic physician and Licensed Acupuncturist in Snohomish. After growing up in a large metropolitan area like San Diego, the beautiful “neighborhood” of Snohomish was extremely appealing.
Dr. Lawler has been very active in public education as well as the education of future healthcare providers. She has lectured at multiple venues including Evergreen Hospital Healthcare, YMCA specialized programs for cancer survivors, and educated medical
staff at Children’s Hospital on the benefits of nutrition and Chinese medicine for prenatal and postnatal care. Additionally, she set up a low cost acupuncture clinic in a senior services facility in Carnation. Dr. Lawler is currently on the faculty for Middle Way Acupuncture Institute.
Dr. Lawler is married with a young daughter. She is passionate about her family, friends, fitness (she is going to be doing her first ever sprint triathlon in 2011), the beautiful outdoors and her patients.
